Illustrated Infographics
Illustrated Infographics are exactly what they sound like – information presented in illustrated form.
While illustrated infographics are commonly used to present drier subject matter (like numbers and stats) in a more engaging graphic design style, they can also be created and structured in a more literal, visual storytelling format.
Navatta Studios likes to create illustrated infographics right where the space of storytelling and possibility meet. By using hand-drawn illustration, mining for meaningful narratives, and keeping things playful, we bring our vision of what it is to create illustrated infographics.
Clarios: The Game Of Life Infographic
Clarios, a battery manufacture in the United States and Canada, was looking to create a ‘Game of Life’ style infographic that embodied the journey of transformation within the company.
The infographic to the left was a larger image that was synthesized from 6+ individual screens (samples below). The individual images for screens were a ‘zoomed in’ look at whatever stage of the larger transformational journey that was being focused on within Clarios.
The larger image incorporated the smaller, individual images and that imagery was also redesigned to fit into the flow of the larger, ‘Game of Life’ style image.

Mara Kormylo: Value Vulnerability
Mara Kormylo, a clinical social work/therapist, needed a catchy but heartfelt and engaging graphic that complemented her live, in-person presentation.
While teaching and working as a facilitator (and doing so within Brenee Brown’s Rising Strong and the Daring Way modalities), Mara used this graphic to help integrate the experiences of those she was teaching.
She wanted something that embodied the idea of vulnerability, so doing a hand-drawn graphic with lively colors was the obvious choice. Beyond that, we focused on making it approachable and human by using human characters throughout.
See pictures of the graphic being used at the live event below!
